The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered at NRW in early October during the 2023-24 school year to all interested 11th grade students (current 10th graders that will be in 11th grade for the 2023-24 school year). 

The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized test that includes a Reading test, a Writing & Language test and a Math test. Please refer to the following link for more details about the test.

The PSAT/NMSQT is a practice test for the SAT, and an opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship and other scholarships. The scores are not shared with anyone, except your school counselor. This is a great way to prepare to take the SAT, an option to consider if you are planning to apply to college. Please see your counselor if you are not sure whether you should take the test or not.
