Lisa Visalli Named Assistant Principal at NRW High School

The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District welcomes Lisa Visalli as the new assistant principal of North Rose-Wolcott High School.

Visalli’s appointment was approved by the NRW Board of Education on January 12. She began serving in her new role on February 13.

Visalli, whose experience in education spans 20 years, previously served as a high school special education teacher and administrative intern in the Canastota Central School District. She has a background in mental health, social work and psychology. Visalli completed her administrative certificate work in the summer of 2022 and sought a position where she could apply her skills in a community similar to Canastota. She found North Rose-Wolcott to be a great fit. In her first week, she has already experienced how staff collaborate and build upon each other’s strengths to best serve students.

“This community has a very nice feel to it,” Visalli said. “I love making connections with staff, students and the community. I am so happy to be here.”

Visalli plans to help strengthen school culture and student engagement, maintain a safe and positive school environment for students to learn and interact, and use creative solutions to meet the needs of students and families.

“I look forward to identifying areas of need and doing my best to help students reach their goals,” she said.
