NRW Voters Approve 2021-22 Budget

On Tuesday, May 18, voters in the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District approved the 2021-22 budget in the amount of $32,243,946 by a vote of 232-66.

 

Voters approved a proposition to spend $480,032.94 from the District’s existing school bus reserve funds to purchase six school buses, with 256 yes votes and 45 no votes.

 

Voters also approved a proposition for funding for the Wolcott Public Library and Rose Free Library, with 244 yes votes and 56 no votes.

 

Linda Eygnor was elected to one seat on the NRW Board of Education for a five-year term (July 1, 2021-June 30, 2026). Votes for the board seat were cast as follows:

Linda Eygnor: 154 votes

Karli Starczewski: 144 votes

Write-in candidates - Shelly Cahoon (2 votes), David Stern (1 vote), Mark Humbert (1 vote)
