Athletic Event Supervisors

 

  1. Arrive approximately one half hour before contest start time. Wear provided “NRW Athletic Supervisor” attire and carry a radio for the entirety of the event.  Stay one half hour after the contest or until all spectators and officials have left the premises and athletic department supplies are safely stored in designated locked areas.  Be sure to offer the officials an escort to the locker rooms and their vehicles.

 

  1. Introduce yourself to coaches & officials and let them know that you are the supervisor for the event.  Be visible and promote sportsmanlike behavior of everyone at the event.  Report any unsportsmanlike conduct, injuries or concerns to the administrator on duty or athletic coordinator.

 

  1. During the contest walk around the event, keep ears open and interact positively with spectators. Watch outlying areas and randomly check the parking lot, baseball field, and public restrooms (if outdoors).  Randomly check nearby hallways, restrooms, and cafeterias (if indoors).

 

Qualifications:                                  Current members of the North Rose – Wolcott Teachers’ Association preferred

Compensation:                                 $45 per event for first 3 hours, $10 every additional hour

 

Athletic Event Score Clock Operator/Scorekeeper

 

  1. Arrive 30 minutes before game time, obtain a radio from the athletic office and check in with the NRW event coordinator or coach to begin warm-up clock and/or get game start operation and lineup information.

 

  1. Speak with the officials, if needed, for any pertinent game related information or updated rules.

 

  1. Be sure all score clock operating equipment or items are safely locked up in the appropriate designated athletic area before departure.

 

Qualifications:                                  Current members of the North Rose – Wolcott Teachers’ Association preferred

Compensation:                                 $45 per event
