The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District has received two New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) Awards of Excellence for communication efforts in the 2023-24 school year.
NRW was recognized for the redesign of its website, www.nrwcs.org, as well as a story about the North Rose-Wolcott Middle School community working together to help a teacher who experienced a medical emergency at school ("NRWMS Comes Together to Save One of Their Own.") Both projects were completed by NRW public relations specialist Amanda Hogan.
The Award of Excellence is the highest designation given out by NYSPRA, a non-profit membership organization of school communications professionals and administrators throughout New York State. Over 430 projects across the state were submitted for judging in this year’s contest.
