North Rose-Wolcott High School senior Mikenzie Shear has been named NRW's 2026 recipient of the Wayne-Finger Lakes Superintendent Award! Mikenzie was recognized at an awards program held March 5 at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES in Newark.
Superintendent Award recipients must have a GPA of 80 or higher at the end of their junior year; demonstrate leadership qualities including honesty, compassion, perseverance, responsibility, kindness, resiliency and industriousness; and have a history of service to their schools, families and communities. Nominees must also fill out an application and wirte an essay.
