The NRWHS Class of 2025 is sponsoring a spring craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at North Rose-Wolcott High School. Items will include crafts, jewelry, clothing, crochet items, books, baked goods and more!
Parents and guardians of resident pupils in the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District are reminded that requests for transportation to private schools for the 2025-26 school year must be filed with the District.
One member of the NRW Board of Education will be elected to a five-year term on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Petitions are now available from the District Clerk and must be submitted by April 21.
Leah was recognized at an awards program held March 6 at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES in Newark. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and a history of service to others.
Eight contestants put their spelling skills to the test February 10 at the third annual North Rose-Wolcott Spelling Bee. Seventh grader Hunter Hanshaw will be nominated to represent NRW at the regional level in March. Congratulations to all participants on a job well done!
Gwen Tompkins and Alston Anaya-Hernandez finished first in two events each in the indoor track divisional championship meet, and Bailey Rowles took first in her weight class at the Wayne-Finger Lakes Wrestling Championship.
Staff and high school students were given the opportunity to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and how to administer Narcan. NRW is the first district in the county to offer Narcan training to students and the second to provide it for staff.
Kai Reynolds was awarded a Gold Key, Kaydence Bebee received three Silver Keys and Casey LaForce was awarded a Silver Key and Honorable Mention.
