Performances are set for 7 p.m. Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults. A free dress rehearsal performance for senior citizens will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 29.
Thirteen students participated in the 16-round spelling bee on February 12. Winner Hunter Hanshaw will represent NRW at the Wayne-Finger Lakes Regional Spelling Bee.
In preparation for the upcoming school board elections on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, a free virtual seminar for prospective school board members will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9-11 a.m. to provide information for individuals considering becoming a member of the school board of education. Registration deadline is February 28 and mandatory.
On December 13, 2023, North Rose-Wolcott voters approved $16.8 million in capital improvements to address numerous facilities issues, make needed improvements, and preserve district assets for years to come. This project will have no impact on school taxes.
The North Rose-Wolcott Central School Board of Education will hold a business meeting on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium of the Leavenworth Middle School. Video conferencing will be used at 731 Maroon Avenue, Crested Butte, CO 81224. The public has the right to attend at either location.
