Academics. Commitment. Excellence.
Our North Rose-Wolcott faculty and staff play a crucial role in helping to ensure each student leaves the NRW family with pride and preparedness for their future path.
The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District serves approximately 1,200 students at three schools - North Rose-Wolcott Elementary (grades UPK-4), North Rose-Wolcott Middle School (grades 5-8) and North Rose-Wolcott High School (grades 9-12). We offer small class sizes; a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for 3- and 4-year-olds; a 1:1 technology program giving all students access to a personal learning device; vast opportunities in the arts, athletics and extracurricular activities; after-school enrichment programs; and a focus on social-emotional wellbeing for both students and staff.
The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District offers an excellent benefits package including New York State retirement, competitive compensation, federal holidays, health insurance, paid time off, and more.
North Rose-Wolcott is located in Wayne County, on the shore of Lake Ontario. The school district covers 162 square miles. North Rose and Wolcott are both rural, agricultural communities with a diverse population. NRW is located less than an hour’s drive from Rochester, Syracuse and the Finger Lakes region. The area offers peaceful country living surrounded by apple farms and other agricultural businesses, as well as countless nature opportunities like hiking, camping, fishing and boating. Check out the beautiful Wolcott Falls, hike at Chimney Bluffs State Park, or enjoy life on the water at Sodus Point or Fair Haven Beach State Park.
