I have been teaching Earth Science at North Rose-Wolcott High School since September of 2000. I love this place! I am also the current advisor for the Science Club and the Cougar Cupboard Club. January 2016 was our first time competing in Science Olympiad at SUNY Brockport. 

I currently live in Red Creek with my wife and 3 children. I have two sons, ages 18 and 10, and a 7-year-old daughter. 

I am originally from Adams, Massachusetts, which oddly enough is the birthplace of Susan B. Anthony. I found it interesting that when I moved to New York, that I ended up living so close to where Susan called home after she left Adams.

Besides teaching Earth Science and coaching the Science Olympiad team, I have many different hobbies that I enjoy. First and foremost, I love the sport of hunting, fishing and trapping. A sportsman has such an important role in our environment, and many people don't understand that conservation of the environment has come from the responsible actions of many of those that enjoy outdoor activities, mainly through financial means. I also enjoy playing the guitar and singing, and have been leading Sunday morning worship at my church, New Life Community Church in Wolcott, since January 2011. It has been a few years since I have recorded a CD, but a lot of former students have a copy of the original one.
