Digital Learning Technology Grant

Through the NYS Digital Learning Technology Grant program, the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District aims to address the following goals:

  • Goal 1: Establish a computer fluency specialist position at the elementary school to design and implement engaging curriculum and learning activities to introduce young learners to fundamental computer science concepts and digital fluency skills.
  • Goal 2: Implement a digital learning platform designed to support personalized learning  and improve reading and math skills through diagnostic assessments and personalized instruction.
  • Goal 3: Establish Instructional Technology Coaches focused on developing digital resource skills, personalized learning curriculum and instructional practices.
  • Goal 4: Increase family/parent voice and engagement by increasing competence with instructional technology and digital learning.
