Resource Center

The Resource Center, also known as the Hub, is a structured, yet flexible environment designed to accommodate different learning styles and students.  The Hub is staffed by Mrs. Motyka, teaching assistant, and Mrs. Guerra, teacher aide.  Students who are failing classes and/or those who would benefit from relationships with caring adults are scheduled in the Hub, where they receive academic support and executive functioning skill instruction. 

We focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, decision-making, and executing tasks so they can stay on track for high school graduation. We prioritize ninth and tenth-grade students who are in danger of failing specific classes, but our flexibility makes it possible for students from all levels to be supported in the Hub.
