Superintendent's Message - September 2021

  • Dear NRW Families,

I would like to welcome you back as we begin the new school year. I hope you have enjoyed your summer surrounded by family and friends. The days have flown by and the new school year will be upon us shortly. We have had quite a few changes this summer here at NRW both from a structural and staff standpoint. These changes will help us to better meet our goals. I am excited for all of you to come in, meet our new staff members and see how each of the buildings has taken shape.

I am particularly pleased to announce that after many months, we are finally regaining occupancy of the Leavenworth Middle School building. This project has had its fair share of challenges, but my hope is that once our middle school students and staff return to the building, everyone will be pleased with the learning environment that will serve our community for the next several decades. The enhancements made at Leavenworth capture the character and charm from the period in which it was originally built while honoring the District’s vision for learning in the 21st century.

We have a golden opportunity to continue to make the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District one of the premier districts in the state, and I am committed to doing so. Thank you for your continued support with this endeavor. It is a task that I feel can easily be accomplished because of the special people who comprise our District and send us such great children.

    Respectfully,

    Michael Pullen
    Superintendent of Schools
