After School Discovery Program

  • The After School Discovery Program is funded by the 21st Century Learning Grant. The program runs throughout the school year in the Leavenworth Middle School cafeteria from 2:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m Monday through Thursday. Transportation home is provided to students. Enrollment forms can be picked up from the Leavenworth Middle School main office; fill it out and join us in the cafeteria after school.

    The program offers a Homework Harbor, where students do homework and school projects with the help of teachers and staff members onsite; this is run from 2:15 to 2:50 p.m.

    The After School Discovery Program is offering these classes and more:

    • Martial Arts
    • Cooking
    • Chess
    • Mini-Musical
    • Glee Club
    • Arts and Crafts
    • Nail Art
    • Foosball
    • Cup Stacking 
    • Robotics
    • Card Making
    • Community Walk

    Additionally, a variety of field trips such as Parkview Lanes in Wolcott, Montezuma Audubon Center, Alasa Farms, Crackerbox Palace, and ice skating are offered.
