Transportation Department
-
The Transportation Department is responsible for providing the safe and efficient transportation of the district’s students. This includes the training of drivers, attendants, and students as mandated by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and the New York State Department of Education. The district’s fleet of vehicles is maintained by the department and is adherent to strict Federal/New York Department of Transportation regulations.
Bus service is provided for all students, except Middle School students within the Village of Wolcott. State regulations allow us to provide daycare transportation to students in grades K-8 provided it is on a regular week to week schedule. The district does not provide transportation for recreational purposes such as birthday parties, scouts, private lessons or visiting a friend, etc. The district does not accommodate day-to-day or impromptu changes.
