Mrs. Michele Sullivan - Principal

I was Principal in the Avoca CSD and before that taught in Newark at the Perkins elementary building. I grew up in Binghamton. I completed my B.S. at St. John Fisher and obtained both of my masters’ degrees from SUNY Brockport. I have been married for 11 years and we have two boys. I love to cook, read, and participate in Yoga or Pilates classes. I am very happy to be a part of the district and I welcome your thoughts and comments.

Mr. Paul Schiener - Assistant Principal

I am originally from Buffalo, New York. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College and Master’s degree from Canisius College. I have a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego. I have been working in this school district for eight years. I have coached baseball and volleyball at the middle school level.

Mrs. Jennifer Hayden - Literacy Coach/Admin. Intern '08-09
Literacy Coach on special assignment.

I hold a BA in Psychology and a MS in Education of Reading from SUNY Potsdam.  I am currently pursuing a CAS from SUNY Oswego in Educational Administration.   For the past six years I have enjoyed working at North Rose Elementary.  Prior to North Rose, I taught for five years in Westhampton Beach.  I enjoy reading, biking and playing soccer with my husband and two boys.
